Sika deer is a small and medium-sized deer with a body length of 125 to 145 cm, a tail length of 12 to 13 cm, a shoulder height of 70 to 95 cm and a weight of 70 to 100 kg.
The fur color is chestnut red in summer, with many white spots, which look like plum blossoms.
It is smoky brown in winter, and white spots are not significant.
The neck is covered with fur. Male horns are 30 to 66 cm long.
