playing为现在分词中文意思是玩耍（play 的 ing 形式）
play （名词，动词）；playing （现在分词，动名词）。

1、play是动词，可以做谓语，playing是现在分词，不可以直接做谓语。
2、play表示玩的意思一般在to后面使用，playing表示正在玩，doing的用法。
