university professor adopted a small Akita dog named "Hachiko". Every day after that, Hachiko delivered the professor to the station in the morning and waited for the professor to come home in the evening. Unfortunately, the professor died of illness and never returned to the station. However, Hachiko still waited at the station every day for the next 9 years until he finally died.
