expect doing还是todo（expect后面加to do还是doing）

是to do,expect to do sth预期干什么；举例如下:

House prices are expected to rise sharply.

As for the USA, it is almost unique among developed nations in having a population that is expected to grow by 20% from 2010—2030.

是 expect to do，例如 You can't expect to turn the clock back.  你不能指望钟会倒走。

expect 后面还可以跟别的结构，例如 expect + that 从句。
